"July came and went, as did August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May of 2207 before the government finally got around to telling Warshak that it had been reading his mail."

Do you have a link or reference for last week's reconsideration decision? All I can find is the July 11 decision....

"due to the high level of security used in transmitting Email messages"

Whining? If I need legal advice I will ask a lawyer. If I want to read about computer security I will find a book or pertinent site to do so. Endless legal diatribes on a computer security site = annoying. ...

Sigh. high horse? In the hope of not getting moderated here, did you bother reading this thread and my responses? Grow a thicker skin. My responses have been impersonal, unlike yours, and professional. I am simply tired of reading endless legal crap on this site. This is supposed to be a "computer s...

Thanks Mark for presenting this interesting information. It is of great value for those in business to know just how much expectation of privacy they can have when considering the cloud for data and messaging. Very interesting conclusions and completely surprised me considering that the 6?th US Di...
