The annual DEFCON conference in Las Vegas in early August got a bit more interesting than usual when three graduate students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology were enjoined from giving a presentation by a Court in Boston.

True, and it preserves the cadence. The song arose when the MTA (or the "T") imposed an "exit fee" to get out of the system rather than imposing a straight fare hike (which would have required new tokens or turnstiles or something). So the song was about Charlie who could never leave the T because...

It's not an exact parallel, but this makes me think of the voting machine scandals back in the last presidential election.

Once again, a contractor has put out a "public infrastructure" system that that is exploitable for gain by third parties at the expense of the public.
