Who decided to associate the word "Engineering" with criminal activity? As a Professional Engineer, I am deeply offended by this reference. The person who coined the expression "social engineering" for IT criminal activity should be ashamed as should all others who eagerly propagate the term....

Thats a good read, thank you very much.

I tried, to no malicious intent, some of the tactics you mentioned and it is impressive to see the effectiveness of it.

It provided a good laugh for a serious matter and I found a few good security flaws in my company, which in turn has been resolved.
