Don't think IP spoofing will help you. If your actual IP address is legitimate on a given network and you decide to change the source address then how is the packet going to get back to you?
Routers have a default interface to send traffic out, but I would think that at some point the return packet...

im no expert, but yes, ip spoofing can help you out. Again im no expert, so all i can recommend is that you use a tool called privoxy with tor. when i need to access a site that does not allow my country's ip, i use firefox's tor button (must download), than i start a program called "privoxy" (por...

Actually it's neither, as he's simply used the term proxy erroneously. It's onion-routing and it's not suitable for watching a bandwidth-intensive service like internet-television over....

It is actually 2nd generation onion routing. Tarzan is an example of 1st generation anonymity at IP level. You are no expert, thanks for mentioning it for the benefit of people who couldn't tell from your blatantly uneducated response.
IP spoofing is of no use to this person in his situation. A very fast proxy may be, but it's unlikely that the proxied protocol will be of use to the BBC's service....

Please read the article you're commenting on. IP spoofing is not a suitable method of obtaining access to the service from Germany. IP Spoofing will not solve your problem unless you intend to dedicate a machine to hijacking the TCP sessions of other people who are playing those games online and source-routing the connection back to your network, while DoSing them so their machines are gagged from RSTing the connection you took ...
