Users just have to remember one password, and different encrypted file formats are supported via plugins. The PassGuard FPM plugin is a plugin that manages Figaro's Password Manager files encrypted with the Blowfish algorithm. DeviceLock Added 2002-03-27 DeviceLock gives network administrators control over which users can access what devices (ports, floppies, Magneto-Optical disks, etc.) on a local computer. Once DeviceLock is installed, administrators can assign permissions to LPT ports, CD-ROMs, COM ports or any other device, just as they would to share-permissions on a hard disk. Network administrators can use DeviceLock to flush a storage device's buffers (very useful for removable media) and to get extended information about devices and NTFS partitions. Remote control is also available. WinShell Added 2002-03-04 A very smart telnet server for windows. Only 4k, support muti-user, custom listening port, remotely terminate, run in the background, etc. NGSecureWeb Added 2002-02-14 NGSecureWeb is a security module for Web Servers. It acts as an application IDS/firewall, preventing security bugs from being exploited. It has the ability to check for shellcodes (even polymorphic ones), buffer overflows, forbidden words, long URLs, long GET arguments, long POST arguments, long HEADERS, etc., in the HTTP request. If the IDS engine detects a possible attack, the firewall engine stops the request. The Apache and Netscape Enterprise Web servers are supported. FXPServer Added 2002-02-11 FlashFXP is a FXPClient. This is a FXPServer. You will know what to do. NTLM Authorization Proxy Server Added 2001-12-27 'NTLM Authorization Proxy Server' is a proxy software that allows you to authenticate via an MS Proxy Server using the proprietary NTLM protocol. It can change arbitrary values in your client's request header so that those requests will look like they were created by MS IE. It is written in Python v1.5.2 language. Jailinit Added 2001-11-29 Jailinit is an init daemon for FreeBSD jail environments. It makes administration of 'sub-servers' easier. vsftpd Added 2001-11-21 vsftpd is an FTP server written from the ground up to be free of security holes, whilst providing safeguards so the impact is low if it isn't. It is also very small and fast. BSDProxy Added 2001-11-13 bsdproxy is an event-driven TCP proxy for FreeBSD which uses the kqueue(2)/kevent(2) API in the event loop. It can be used to proxy any communication between a server and its clients which takes place over a TCP connection. It was mainly written to serve as an example of the uses of FreeBSD kernel event queues for event-driven I/O. URLScan Security Tool Added 2001-11-01 URLScan screens all incoming requests to an IIS web server, and only allows ones to pass that comply with a ruleset created by the administrator. This significantly improves the security of the server by helping ensure that it only responds to valid requests. The tool allows the administrator to filter requests based on length, character set, content and other factors. A default ruleset is provided, which can be customized to meet the needs of a particular server. Browse by category |
