Finally, it shows product IDs and CD keys for Windows, Microsoft Office and other Microsoft software installed. Enigmail Added 2004-04-05 Enigmail is a "plugin" for the mail client of Mozilla and Netscape 7.x which allows users to access the authentication and encryption features provided by the popular GnuPG software. Enigmail can encrypt/sign mail when sending, and can decrypt/authenticate received mail. It can also import/export public keys. Enigmail supports both the inline PGP format and the PGP/MIME format, which can be used to encrypt attachments. Enigmail is cross-platform, although binaries are supplied only for a limited number of platforms. Enigmail uses inter-process communication to execute GPG to carry out encryption/authentication. WinCrypt Added 2003-05-21 This is desktop encryption software to stop prying eyes. Windows users can now secure documents in such a way that sensitive files on hard drives and e-mail attachments are totally unreadable to unauthorized users. Users can drag and drop sensitive files into the Wincrypt window, select a password, and then e-mail the file to the intended recipient. The only people able to read the document are the holders of the password. The file or folder is protected by 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Advanced features include anti-logging keyboard, quik-klik encryption and self decrypting files. nProbe Added 2003-01-13 nProbe is a Netflow V5 probe characterized by portability to Unix and Windows environments, a small memory footprint (less than 2MB of memory regardless of the size of the network), and low CPU usage. It is designed for running in environments with limited resources. Secure Cryptographic Instant Messaging Added 2002-08-07 The Project SCIM application allows you to send Encrypted Instant Messages to your friends and other contacts. The software is free for non-commercial users and contains a load of cool features. FCheck Added 2002-07-31 FCHECK is a very stable PERL script written to generate and comparatively monitor a UNIX system against its baseline for any file alterations and report them through syslog, console, or any log monitoring interface. Monitoring events can be done in as little as one minute intervals if a system's drive space is small enough, making it very difficult to circumvent. This is a freely-available open-source alternative to 'tripwire' that is time tested, and is easier to configure and use. GNU Privacy Guard DNS Keyserver Client Added 2002-07-08 GNU Privacy Guard DNS Keyserver Client enables sending and retrieving OpenPGP keys with GnuPG to and from DNS-based keyservers. DNS-based keyservers offer several advantages over traditional HTTP-based ones, such as distributed caching, server fail-over, and geographical optimal server selection, etc. Active@ UNERASER Added 2002-06-04 Active@ UNERASER is a compact and powerful undelete utility that can recover deleted files and folders on FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS systems. It can even restore files from deleted and re-formatted partitions. With this data recovery software NTFS drives can be recognized and deleted items can be recovered from Microsoft DOS. It is not necessary to install the utility on your system's hard drive, as it fits on a boot floppy disk, removing the possibility of overwriting data which you want to recover. DECLASFY Added 2002-03-27 DECLASFY is designed to meet Department of Defense standards from the rainbow series concerning declassification (wiping) of hard disks, and cleansing of floppy disks. Declasfy writes the entire disk with hex 0s, then 1s (0xff), then random characters or symbols as many time as the user wishes. Since it runs from a DOS boot it wipes the entire drive, not subject to drive access limitiations of WINDOWS. CHAOS For Security Added 2002-03-18 Encrypt and compress individual files and folders using the stream cipher encryption algorithm. Drag and Drop support. CHAOS for security of your secrets.
