It is a KDE GUI for nmap. Individual hosts or entire subnets can be scanned simultaneously, and the results are shown in the interface as queries finish, so the user needn't wait for the entire scan to finish. The daemon listens to TCP port 113 (auth), and can be run either as a stand-alone daemon, or through inetd. proDETECT Added 2003-02-04 proDETECT is an open source promiscious mode scanner with a GUI.It uses ARP packet analyzing technique to detect adapters in promiscious mode.This tool can be used by security administrators to detect sniffers in a LAN.It can be scheduled for regular scanning over periods.It also has some advanced reporting capabilities such as SMTP reporting.Full source code is included. Sniffdet Added 2002-12-05 Sniffdet is an implementation of a set of tests for remote sniffers detection in TCP/IP network environments. It is composed of a flexible and easy to use library and a console application to run the tests.
