ARPCI2 (Automated RPCInfo (2)) Added 2001-10-22 ARPCI2 was spawned from an earlier script (ARPCI(1)). ARPCI2 is a tool which, as stated in the name, sends rpcinfo requests to the remote portmapper. With ARPCI2 and unlike ARPCI(1), the new features are: time stamp, vulnerability notices, checks before hand of sunrpc availability, and a cleaner interface. rvscan (remote vulnerability scanner) Added 2001-10-22 scans a unix system for just about every remote vulnerability currently being used by hackers. NDiff Added 2001-10-22 NDiff compares two nmap scans and outputs the differences. It allows monitoring of your network(s) for interesting changes in port states and visible hosts. Viewing results in this manner eliminates the need to sift through voluminous raw scan output in search of the few noteworthy differences. It should be useful to network administrators, security analysts, and other interested parties who need to monitor large networks in an organized fashion. RPC tools Added 2001-10-22 The RPC tools package contains three separate tools for obtaining information from a system that is running RPC services. rpcdump allows you to dump the contents of the endpoint mapper database. ifids is similar to rpcdump but allows you to query a single RPC server and can even allow you to query an RPC server which is not listed in the endpoint map obtained with rpcdump above. walksam is a tool which allows you to dump the information of each user found within the SAM database via Named Pipes or using the additional protocol sequences used by Windows 2000 domain controllers.
