EverCrack - Open Source Cryptanalysis Engine Added 2005-08-04 EverCrack is a cryptanalysis engine. The overall design goal is to systematically break down complex ciphers into their simplex components for cryptanalysis (by the kernel). The kernel consists of an algebraic design (comparison and reduction) for breaking uniliteral, monoalphabetic ciphers instantaneously. Currently, it can break a 500-word cipher in less than 500 miliseconds. EverCrack currently has multi-language support for the user interface and cracking encryption in other language dictionaries (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, and Portuguese). Netfilter2html Added 2005-05-10 netfilter2html is a script wrote using GAWK to process netfilter logs and generate a nice HTML output. GAWK is faster to process text files, it can process 100.000 text lines in a few seconds. File System Saint Added 2005-03-21 A fast, flexible, lightweight perl-based host IDS. Network Equipment Performance Monitor Added 2005-01-17 NEPM is a very general, highly configurable, two part software system that monitors any type of logged data from IP networked equipment and reports it via E-mail and web pages. Current conditions and history from systems based on Windows NT/2000 and UNIX can be tracked and reported. Most major server, switch and router systems can be monitored, without running agents on the target systems. Ipanto Secure Added 2005-01-14 Ipanto Secure allows ISC based DHCP servers (UNIX, Linux) to send signed dynamic DNS updates to a Microsoft DNS, using the GSS-TSIG protocol. PatchLink Update Added 2004-11-30 With PATCHLINK UPDATE, patch management is the secure, proactive, and preventative process it should be. PATCHLINK UPDATE scans networks for security holes and closes them with the click of a mouse, no matter the operating system, the vendor applications, the mix, or the size of the environment. From 5K nodes to 20+K nodes, PATCHLINK UPDATE works quickly, accurately and safely to ensure desktops and servers are patched correctly and completely the first time around. rootsh Added 2004-11-12 Rootsh is a wrapper for shells which logs all echoed keystrokes and terminal output to a file and/or to syslog. It's main purpose is the auditing of users who need a shell with root privileges. They start rootsh through the sudo mechanism. I's in heavy use here at a big bavarian car manufacturer (three letters, fast, cool,...) for project users whom you can't deny root privileges. Nmap Added 2004-09-09 Nmap is a utility for port scanning large networks, although it works fine for single hosts. Sometimes you need speed, other times you may need stealth. In some cases, bypassing firewalls may be required. Not to mention the fact that you may want to scan different protocols (UDP, TCP, ICMP, etc.). Nmap supports Vanilla TCP connect() scanning, TCP SYN (half open) scanning, TCP FIN, Xmas, or NULL (stealth) scanning, TCP ftp proxy (bounce attack) scanning, SYN/FIN scanning using IP frag THC-Hydra Added 2004-08-30 THC-Hydra - parallized login hacker is available: for Samba, FTP, POP3, IMAP, Telnet, HTTP Auth, LDAP, NNTP, MySQL, VNC, ICQ, Socks5, PCNFS, Cisco and more. Includes SSL support and is part of Nessus. Visit the project web site to download Win32, Palm and ARM binaries. Changes: important bugfix! Browse by category |
