CDSA 2 is an Open Group standard created by many companies and published freely. Intel has created an open source implmenetation of CDSA 2. RACF PC-based Utilities Added 2001-10-22 The 'RACF' utilities are text processing programs which take an IRRDBU00 ASCII flat file download from RACF and produces as output text reports and depending on the program JCL which can be checked, transfered back to mainframe and submitted. Please refer to the web page for notes on using the RACF utilities, and for the RACF.ini file (not included in the ZIP file). confcollect Added 2001-10-22 Confcollect is a script which collects a variety of security and configuration information on a Linux system, and mails them to an appropriate location. This information may also come in handy for managing large number of Linux machines, where the administrator has to give root access to others. This will allow the admin to see changes after they've taken place, and react if necessary. SATOOLS Added 2001-10-22 SATOOLS is a set of tools geared to the management of a large number of similar systems, but where each may have its own subtle nuances. It will store tables detailing their configurations, hardware setup, cron jobs, what the /etc/motd looks like -- all facets of the administration of a machine. NewSID Added 2001-10-22 NewSID is a program we developed that changes a computer's SID. It is free, comes with full source, and is a Win32 program, meaning that it can easily be run on systems that have been previously cloned. Please read this entire article before you use this program. Security Focus Pager Added 2001-10-22 The Security Focus Pager is a small utility to keep the user updated on the latest happenings in the computer security industry. It does this by monitoring the Security Focus website (www.securityfocus.com), and providing a brief description of new content when it is added. The pager is user-configurable to allow for varying amounts and types of content, frequency of updates, notification methods and more.
