It also serves as a firewall to prohibit intruders from accessing your LAN. You can create your own BBIagent router software (a diskette file image) on our server based on your hardware configuration (NICs) and connection protocol (e.g. PPPoE, PPPoATM or DHCP). It is very easy to install and use. libconnect Added 2002-05-27 Libconnect is a simple library wrapper written in assembly language that intercepts the calls applications make to establish TCP connections and transparently proxies them as necessary. Existing applications can use this library without any recompilation or modification. If you provide multiple proxies they will be cycled connection after connection. DeviceLock Millennium Edition Added 2002-03-27 DeviceLock Me gives network administrators control over which users can access what removable devices (floppies, Magneto-Optical disks, CD-ROMs, ZIPs, etc.) on a local computer. Once DeviceLock Me is installed, administrators can control access to floppies, CD-ROMs or any other device, depending on the time of day and day of the week. DeviceLock Me enhances access control for Windows System Administrators and helps control removable disk usage. It can protect network and local computers against viruses, trojans and other malicious programs often injected from removable disks. Network administrators can also use DeviceLock Me to flush a storage device's buffers. Remote control is also available. It will test pretty much every network operation you could want to know about. AATools will check Email properties, Scan ports and proxies, give network and system statuses, clean up unnecessary registry entries in your registry, etc. The information it conveys is easy to digest and setting up a test is likewise very simple. A worthwhile download for anyone wanting to gather info on their network or PC. AATools should be a part of your security toolkit and you should employ them regularly. Pam_mount Added 2002-01-07 The pam_mount module allows users to have NCP (Netware) or SMB (Windows/Samba) volumes mounted upon login, using the same password they typed for login. A remote volume can even be used as a user's $HOME. Volumes mounted this way are automatically unmounted on logout.
