It can function as a drop-in replacement for Sendmail::Milter, though PMilter does not require threads or the "libmilter" API to be available. MailStripper Pro (Linux x86) Added 2004-02-16 MailStripper Pro is a mail scanner that aims to remove spam and viruses from incoming mail using the F-Prot anti-virus. It is written in Tcl and was designed to be MTA-independent. CECID Added 2004-02-16 CECID (The CEnsorship CIrcumvention Device) is a PHP script designed to anonymize and filter HTTP requests, especially for users behind restrictive firewalls (e.g. workplaces, schools, etc.). It remotely loads a page that a user specifies, and filters it for words on its 'weighted phrase list', a list of words commonly blocked by network administrators. It alters these words to avoid detection, and displays the page requested. It can also be used for anonymizing HTTP requests, for situations where cloaking and security are required. PGPMime for Java Added 2004-02-13 PGPMime for Java extends Sun's JavaMail API by an implementation of the PGPMime standard as described in RFC 3156. This library acts as a middleware between a cryptography provider and JavaMail. It does not, however, include implementations of cryptographic algorithms. CVS-SSH2 Plug-in for Eclipse Added 2004-02-05 CVS-SSH2 Plug-in for Eclipse is an Eclipse plug-in to allow CVS access on an encrypted session by SSH2 protocol. MydoomDeleter Added 2004-02-02 MydoomDeleter tries to identify email messages infected with the Mydoom(.B) worm in POP3 mailboxes. It deletes any infected message that it identifies while they are still on the server. In order to perform the identification, it applies some heuristics to the headers, the size of the messages, and name of the attachment. It thus avoids downloading the actual email, making retrievals less taxing. It has both interactive and nonstop modes. Jacksum Added 2004-02-02 Jacksum is a free checksum utility entirely written in Java. It supports most common checksum algorithms (Adler32, BSD sum, POSIX cksum, CRC-16, CRC-32, MD2, MD5, SHA, and Unix System V sum). File Integrity Command & Control Added 2004-01-30 File Integrity Command & Control (FICC) helps system administrators manage multiple Tripwire installations across their network. It maintains MD5 hashes for the three key Tripwire files (the config file, executable, and TW database) for every system it monitors. Using SCP, it retrieves these key files from each system and compares the computed signature against the signatures in the FICC signature database. If all three signatures match the database, FICC then connects to the host via SSH and runs Tripwire. In the event that any of the signatures do not match the database or Tripwire detects files changes, an email is sent to the "FICC administrator" of the system in question. MUTE File Sharing Added 2004-01-29 MUTE File Sharing is an anonymous, decentralized search-and-download file sharing system. Several people have described MUTE as the "third generation file sharing network" (From Napster to Gnutella to MUTE, with each generation getting less centralized and more anonymous). MUTE uses algorithms inspired by ant behavior to route all messages, include file transfers, through a mesh network of neighbor connections. JSch Added 2004-01-22 JSch is a pure Java implementation of SSH2. It allows you to connect to an sshd server and use port forwarding, X11 forwarding, file transfer, etc. You can integrate its functionality into your own Java programs. Browse by category |
