It is a customizable and pluggable log-monitoring system and will go through the logs for a given period of time and make a customizable report. It should work right out of the package on most systems. eIQ iMON Added 2002-04-23 eIQ iMON is a comprehensive server monitoring and administration program that includes tools that monitor crucial aspects of server and network environments. It allows for multi-user access through a browser interface and provides over 20 different types of monitors. These include services such as HTTP, FTP, POP, and SMTP, and can trigger alerts if you want to be notified of possible errors. filter Added 2002-04-09 filter takes a high-level langauge and compiles it into packet filtering rules for a variety of packet filters. Iptables, ipchains, and ipfilter backends are available. NetSPoc (Network Security Policy Compiler) Added 2002-04-08 The Network Security Policy Compiler (NetSPoC) is a tool for security management of large computer networks with different security domains. It generates configuration files for packet filters controlling the borders of security domains. It provides its own language for describing security policy and the topology of a network. The security policy is a set of rules that state which packets are allowed to pass the network and which are not. NetSPoC is topology aware; a rule for traffic from A to B is automatically applied to all managed packet filters on the path from A to B. SLAN Added 2002-04-03 The SLAN project is focused on developing a flexible open source Virutal Private Networking system, primarily for securing Internet uplinks which use broadcast media such as 802.11 wireless links or public/shared ethernets. The system is flexible enough to support traditional VPN applications as well. As well as featuring an open design and strong security, the SLAN project hopes to eventually provide support for all major computing platforms. OpenSSH SRP patch Added 2002-04-03 This patch adds Secure Remote Password (SRP) support to OpenSSH (portable version). Ease of use and a minimum risk of security problems due to incorrect use will be it's strong points. This library is not intended to cover all forms of elliptic curve cryptography.
