Onjoin bots now have a random version reply to look more like real users, and onjoin bots will not check channels that are already monitored with a monbot. There is updated documentation and many bugfixes for existing code. Fast OnlineUpdate for SuSE Added 2004-02-04 Fast OnlineUpdate for SuSE (fou4s) is a bash script that provides the functionality of YOU (YaST OnlineUpdate), but can also work in background and check for updates every night. It supports resumed downloads and proxies by using wget. GPG signatures are also checked. Sussen Added 2004-02-03 Sussen is a GNOME client for the Nessus Security Scanner. Sussen is incredibly easy to use, allowing you to perform a vulnerabiltiy assessment with just a few mouse clicks. Jacksum Added 2004-02-02 Jacksum is a free checksum utility entirely written in Java. SpamProbe Added 2004-02-02 SpamProbe is a spam detection program that uses a Bayesian analysis of the frequencies of terms used in the email. Because it filters email based on content rather than on general rules, it easily adapts itself to the types of email that each individual user normally receives. SpamFilters Added 2004-01-28 This release adds build-time options to decode RFC-2047 "Subject" text, reject mail with missing or empty "Subject" text, and log a summary of rejecting rulesets. The subject filters have been expanded, and the processing of them is much more efficient. Support scripts and programs have been updated and/or added. Scapy Added 2004-01-27 Scapy is a powerful interactive packet manipulation tool, packet generator, network scanner, network discovery tool, and packet sniffer. It provides classes to interactively create packets or sets of packets, manipulate them, send them over the wire, sniff other packets from the wire, match answers and replies, and more. Interaction is provided by the Python interpreter, so Python programming structures can be used (such as variables, loops, and functions). Report modules are possible and easy to make. It is intended to do about the same things as ttlscan, nmap, hping, queso, p0f, xprobe, arping, arp-sk/arpspoof, firewalk, irpas, tethereal, and tcpdump. PeerProtect Added 2004-01-26 PeerProtect is an addon for Jay's firewall that generates a file which contains all IP addresses from the RIAA and MPAA, etc. and will protect peer-to-peer programs from them. SEPPL Added 2004-01-22 SEPPL is both a protocol definition and a software implementation of a new encryption layer for IPv4. It is extremely leightweight and easy to use. It is implemented for the Linux kernel and makes use of netfiler and the Linux CryptoAPI. It is intended as a software replacement for WEP but may be used on non-wireless lans as well. It even fits for VPN solutions. LibIdent C library Added 2004-01-21 LibIdent is a small C library for interfacing with RFC 1413 Ident protocol servers, which are used for identifying users.
