It consists of a proxy server that allows the contents of HTTP and HTTPS requests to be viewed, and an engine that can be configured to extract information from Web sites using special patterns and regular expressions. It handes authentication, redirects, and cookies, and contains an embedded scripting engine that allows extracted data to be manipulated, written out to a file, or inserted into a database. It can be used with PHP, Java, or any COM-friendly language such as Visual Basic or Active Server Pages. libmtcrypt Added 2003-09-18 libmtcrypt aims to be a modern block cipher encryption and decryption library. It features architecture dependent assembler optimized cipher algorithms. It also comes with plain C routines, to obtain compatibility. For all ciphers the passphrases are hashed and iterated so that collision and dictionary attacks are impossible. SNMP Trap Translator Added 2003-09-18 SNMPTT is an SNMP trap handler written in Perl for use with the NET-SNMP/UCD-SNMP snmptrapd program. Received traps are translated into friendly messages using variable substitution. Output can be to STDOUT, text log file, syslog, MySQL (Linux/Windows), or a Windows ODBC database. User defined programs can also be executed. VIrus Added 2003-09-15 VIrus (VI resembling utility skeleton) was originally taken from busybox and stripped of most unrelated stuff. The intention is to provide a pure, minimalist VI implementation that allows you to switch off shell-escaping and other security risks by default, and allow the admin to offer an interim user to just have a vi as login-shell on a certain host, while allowing others to work with a resource-sensitive and small vi implementation for your OS bootdisks. Novosec Bouncy Castle Extensions Added 2003-09-12 Novosec Bouncy Castle Extensions provides some extensions to the Bouncy Castle Cryptography framework. It features an OCSP (RFC 2560) server and client that work with the Bouncy Castle OCSP generators and parsers, and a full tested implementation of CMP (RFC 2510, RFC 2511) generator and parser classes, that also rely on Bouncy Castle classes. Relax log analyzer Added 2003-09-10 Relax is a multi-platform Web server log analyzer written in Perl. It can be used to track which search engines, search keywords, and referring URLs led visitors to the Web site. It can also track down bad links and analyze which keywords to bid for at pay-per-click search engines. The parser module in Relax recognizes several hundred search engines and is capable of extracting the keywords used. Generated HTML reports can be configured to include links to other Web-based keyword analysis tools, making it easier to further improve the ranking of web pages in search engines.
