Even Palmos soon! Will check for 119 of common cgi and other remote issues. Plus it will report you the Bugtraq ID of some vulnerabilities. Get the rebol interpreter at http://www.rebol.com. SAINT - Security Administrator's Integrated Network Tool Added 2001-10-22 SAINT (Security Administrator's Integrated Network Tool) is a security assessment tool based on SATAN. It is updated regularly and scans for just about all remotely detectable vulnerabilities. Features include scanning through a firewall, updated security checks from CERT & CIAC bulletins, 4 levels of severity (red, yellow, brown, & green) and a feature rich HTML interface. OSSH Added 2001-10-22 Sudo Added 2001-10-22 Sudo is a utility that allows administrators to give limited access to root privileges to users, and log activity associated with the use of sudo. This allows for giving people the access they need, without the need to give full root access. Lsof Added 2001-10-22 Lsof is a Unix-specific diagnostic tool. Its name stands for LiSt Open Files, and it does just that. It lists information about any files that are open by processes currently running on the system. Domtools 1.5.0 Added 2001-10-22 DomTools provides some high-level tools that do things which most DNS administrators will find valuable such as: sorting by domain names, sorting by IP addresses, generating an /etc/hosts, /etc/networks, or /etc/netmasks files from the DNS database of an entire zone, generating network node lists for network mapping utilities, comparing SOA RRs from each authoritative nameserver for a zone. DomTools makes it easier for people to query Internet domain name servers using single, easy-to-use commands. It provides computer-parsable output from all commands so that higher level tools are easy to develop. SRS (Secure Remote Streaming) Added 2001-10-22 SRS is a program that streams a copy of a client's logs as specified by the syslog.conf file to a trusted server on a remote site. It provides strong authentication and secure communications between the client and the server through an SSL tunnel. It is intended as a replacement for syslogd. This and syslogd may NOT be running at the same time. Features include: - Secure logging. All communications are automatically and transparently encrypted. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) v3.0 is used for the authentication and encryption. A conventional cipher (3DES, RC4, etc.) for encrypting the session. Encryption is started before SRS authentication, and no data is streamed or transmitted in the clear - No special configuration of syslogd is needed - Never trusts the network. Minimal trust on the remote side of the connection. Minimal trust on domain name servers. Pure SSL authentication never trusts anything but the private key. - The client SSL authenticates the server machine in the beginning of every connection to prevent trojan horses (by routing or DNS spoofing) and man-in-the-middle attacks, and the server SSL authenticates the client machine before accepting any commands or requests from the client. On top of this, SRS will send its own challenge cookie - Client and server keys are generated by RepSec, Inc. Each client and server is provided a unique key httptunnel Added 2001-10-22 httptunnel creates a bidirectional data channel through an HTTP proxy, from your isolated computer behind a restrictive firewall, to a system on the Internet you have access to. Fortify for Netscape Added 2001-10-22 This is Fortify for Netscape, a program that provides world-wide, unconditional, full strength 128-bit cryptography to users of Netscape Navigator (v3 and v4) and Communicator (v4). iplog Added 2001-10-22 iplog is a TCP/IP traffic logger. Currently, it is capable of logging TCP, UDP and ICMP traffic. iplog 2.0 is a complete re-write of iplog 1.x, resulting in greater portability and better performance. iplog 2.0 contains all the features of iplog 1.x as well as several new ones. Major new features include a packet filter and detection of more scans and attacks. It currently runs on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, BSDI and Solaris. Ports to other systems, as well as any contributions at all, are welcome at this time. Browse by category |
