decrypting WEP/WPA on the fly while sniffing 2010-04-04
Robin Wood (dninja gmail com) (1 replies)
Hi
Are there any wifi sniffing tools that will decrypt different
encrypted networks on the fly giving a pcap stream on unencrypted
data.

For example, there are 2 WEP and 1 WPA APs in the area which I have
the keys for and there are also a couple of unencrypted APs. I want to
sniff all the traffic,

recommend a 802.1n USB and/or ExpressCard 2009-10-18

Taras (taras securityaudit ru) (1 replies)
Hello, all!

analyzer at least quarterly or deploying a wireless IDS/IPS to
identify all wireless devices in use."

Ok, we can do this going through all CDEs and scan the air with e.g. Kismet.

Dictionary based AP probes 2009-10-11
Rob Fuller (jd mubix gmail com) (3 replies)
I don't know enough about the inner workings of 802.11 to know if this
would work, but is there a tool out there that will do a dictionary
attack on a non broadcasting AP by sending out probes?
