is there a way to let a user substitute himself as another using
openssh?

For instance, let us say that I want to let Windows user jdoe connect
via ssh to a Linux machine on which his account does not exist. Can

I have been searching for a solution for a few weeks now and managed

user specific restrictions.

Just sharing how I would investigate(not solve) the problem.

My first step would be to try and sniff at the serverside of the slow old tunnel. Do the same transaction on the new one that you got setup and compare the packet dump. Then I would analyze the diff and make an intelligent jud
