Key Rotation Scripts 2010-11-21
Kai Renz (writemecas googlemail com) (1 replies)

i am currently searching for some script which automates key rotation
on a router.
Sure there is a problem with the clients which will also need to
change the key, but if the key changes in a specific manner this could
be done easily.
Do you know of such scripts for different routers? Do

Without a trust model for authenticating server certificates there is
no way to prevent MitM attacks against TLS. This same problem exists
with existing closed EAP-TLS and EAP-PEAP networks today, which
require manual configuration to prevent rogue attacks.

Even so, EAP-TLS without client authentic

I have to say, I am really digging this blog (I mean it is called "naked
security", which is really close to "hack naked", or is it?). I
referenced several articles from it on a few podcasts. However, an
article was posted titled, "Dear Starbucks: The skinny on how you can be
a security hero", and

extracting ESSIDs 2010-11-11
Robin Wood (robin digininja org)
Is there a way to extract all the ESSIDs from a pcap and say if
beacon, probe or from management frames? I've got a half gig of wifi
data and want to show a summary of what I've seen.

I'm probably going to be able to do it through the Kismet XML file but
it would be good to also be able to pull it

Hello list,

A big finance organization is considering to equip some workers in the branches
with mobile TABLET devices (WIN 7 based) and using WiFi communication (within
the branch only).

My initial thought about the network is to use:
 -  WPA2 Enterprise: CCMP/AES with RADIUS authentication (

Got it sussed. I renamed
/System/Library/Extensions/RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext and rebooted.
Virtualbox happy passed the device on to the guest then. Now got Linux
running and it gets the device. All the tools are detecting it but it
isn't getting any data but at least I'm a step further now.

I've got a new Alfa 2W card, the one with the Ralink chipset. OS X
detects it and it works fine in managed mode but I'd like to pass it
through to my VirtualBox VMs. When I try I get an error about the
