Burned by ChoicePoint breach, potential ID theft victims face a lifetime of vigilance
Rachel Konrad, The Associated Press 2005-02-24

Warren Lambert thought it was just another piece of junk mail until he read the letter more closely and learned that con artists may have obtained his Social Security number, name and address -- just what they need to steal his identity and ruin his credit.

OK. What we truly need ~is to treat the behaviour of these companys, as criminal.

I am tired of all the LEGITAMATIZED ILLEGAL BUSINESS, that our country seems to turn a blind eye to, for the sake of the almighty green and the political prostalitizing that goes on~ amoungst the rich, powerful, and well-connected.

The HARD WORKING people of this country can't keep getting knocked around like this!

It is CRIMINAL to, in one form or another, "aid and abet" a criminal in their activities!!!

OUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS should NOT BE FOR THE PURPOSE OF IDENTIFICATION!

Companys SHOULD BE HELD TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE in cases of LAX VIGILANCE! It is not just a matter of money, It is a matter STEALING LIVES!!!! I call it LIFE THEFT!!!! ~ *SASk. . .
