I personally, do not agree with this law. I believe it isn't hurting anyone when someone posts the DeCSS code on a website. It's normally called "freedom of speech", but when mass media and big corporations get ahold of the situation, it flips to their only worry, money, which they also waste on court to sue some people demonstrating their Constitutional rights. If a programmer wants to code a DVD player for Linux or any other operating system besides Windows, more power to him. It would increase the sales of DVDs a bit, which I would think they would want. More people would hear of DVD's, then pretty soon, everyone has one! I think it is pointless to sue anybody for posting the DeCSS code.
