I found this paragraph to be one of the clearest indications that the MPAA/Lawyer community is so clearly out of touch with reality that it isn't funny any more. The fact that DeCSS is being used on DVD's to bypass these protections, as well as hacking on other protections (SDMI) and trivial jokes (DC's "CueCat") shows that people ARE hacking these protections and circumventing these controls.

I just wish these lawyers would go back under the rock and let the rest of us who really do know what we are doing solve the problems. After all, no matter how many laws they pass or how many people they bury in litigation, they are only hurting their cause by creating more martyrs (which I have no problem with, since I am in the opposition.)
