For example. You take away someone's computer for 10 years whose life IS computers and that is almost death for them. They have to come up with a totally new idea of who they are. Wouldn't this be punishment enough? No. They will throw him in prison, fine him money, and then restrict him from computer usage for the rest of his natural life and only because normal people have no understanding of what it is like to be him. For pity sake, you take away someone's computer for 10 years by the time they get back onto a computer, they will know NOTHING yet this is not enough. They will destroy him and all out of FEAR. Fear that he will do something that they can never dream of. Fear that he will one day get into their computers. Fear of something they can?t understand.
I do NOT condone what he did, and I believe that he should be punished, but I do not believe that he should be punished as severely as they will punish him for this.
In a world such as ours paranoia rules supreme because ignorance flows freely.
