I am a SysAdmin/NetAdmin/Manager and father of two. One 17 and one 10.

I have to agree with the 16 y.o. on this one. Teenagers have a right to privacy. That you support them does not mean that they are property. They are persons and deserving of the respect and rights that gives them.

The job is instructing and guiding so that you have done your best to ensure that they can make well considered decisions.

If you take away privacy then you need to have good reasons to do so.
