Job seekers beware of the company SRG (Software Research Group) 2007-06-05
Anonymous
The company interviews and hires Canadians in big Hotels in Toronto. It is a New Jersey based company by the name of "Software Research Group" (SRG). I offers positions on the spot for 45000$ or 50,000$. At this time, unemployed individuals accept right away.

After bringing people to the US, SRG makes them sign a contract stating that the individual would work with him for a period of at least 1 year, otherwise one would pay upto $25000 in damages.

SRG on this low salary, places people in metropolitan areas. Moreover SRG doesn't start paying you any salary till the date you get a job after clearing an interview with a client.

You start working for these unacceptable wages, in really expensive cities. You will not be able to meet your expenses.

You will be a work horse who would work and the company would pocket 2/3rds of your salary for nothing. If you happen to quit before a period of one year, the company comes after you with a lawsuit and try to make their money.

These guys wont even pay the salary on time and would not treat you well. Beware of this company and atleaset have a look at their contract before taking the leap from where ever you are to New Jersey area.

Thanks!
