This has been possible for quite some time. It was always a simple matter to do a query using the text of a badly-written routine, to find out where that appeared on the Internet.

Google isn't making anything possible, that wasn't already easily done. It's not doing anything to hurt security. All Google is doing is taking away one more reason for having a false sense of security.
