Robert Lemos, SecurityFocus 2005-05-12

What this really comes down to....

Education : Who's 16 yr. old kid came up w. finding this security flaw?

Wasn't from the US more than likely; unless the kid was from Redmond or Silicone Valley or the land of Intel..

Yes : opensource will always be buggy; that's one of the reasons it is OPEN! With IE you get Closed....no way to tweak it....nothing : except those 'addons' that are usually spyware of Some sort. And note! Noone ever discusses LYNX vulnerabilities. At least not at this level. Give the OPEN-hearted one a break : rather than defend a king who will sacrifice you in the END of all things.....

PS. Anyone play w. their ABOUT:CONFIG lately?
