Firefox's security coming under scrutiny
Robert Lemos, SecurityFocus 2005-05-12

Mozilla developers say that the browser had security built into the design, but that has not stopped flaw finders from pinpointing problems with Firefox.

Thanks for the Mozilla spin on this topic. But as is already pointed in the original piece, and which you tried hard to hide, is that IE is indeed a tougher browser now, and that FF is overrated when it comes to security. The truth is, there are fewer interested parties trying to find flaws in FF, yet they still found 21 flaws in the last 6 months of 2004. If FF, or all the Mozilla browsers, had a higher number of users, say 40% of the market, then that would be an incentive for crackers to try and locate exploits for the "rebel browser."

Let's stop the spin and look at the facts, FF is overhyped by an aggressive and zealous internet campaign that is more about anti-MS than it is about innovation (FF's features are poor and inferior implementations of features found in other alternative browsers). And if you think I am a MS lackey, I am an Opera Browser user, and I have FF installed in my comp.
