Mitnick has nothing substantial to offer the Information Security community. Because a hacker has been jailed for breaking computer laws, does not mean his opinions on computer security are valid!

I hope that the media's infatuation with Mitnick is just a fad and is short-lived so we can get back to reading articles written and about real security professionals.
