Microsoft to reward informants after Sasser conviction
Robert Lemos, SecurityFocus 2005-07-08

Never forget that the industry has its part on this one.

While setting free a worm is clearly an act of vandalism, software makers do take it too easy on security. Still. And anti-virus makers keep selling old solutions based (more or less) on databases of known attacks which have to be kept up-to-date on an hourly basis. Guess why.

So I'm more with Microsoft's Anderson on this one. Cluely's statements are disgusting and definitely hypocritical.

Cluely, get a clue.
