Settlement reached in Cisco flaw dispute

LAS VEGAS -- A researcher who showed off a way to remotely compromise Cisco routers has to turn over all materials and agree not to further disseminate information on the flaws or the technique he used to run code on the popular network hardware.

bah! surely, someone who has found a way to own cisco routers, can send an anonymous email informing them of the flaws - this cat was out to claim his stake in notoriety, why else release this information at a /black hat/ conference?
