Cisco - Large Vendors Make the Best Targets! The Next Microsoft? 2005-08-06

I think that Cisco has now opened themselves up for more attacks. They have made a lot of hackerz angry. And hackerz will now be more motivated to prove something, whatever their new motives are.

CISCO is dominant on the market for Internet hardware, but that makes them a logical target. For the same reason people target Windows and not LINUX & Mac.

Instead of firing this guy, they should have used his knowledge and abilities to patch this up and discover more holes. Their attitude will put them in the same category as Microsoft.

Hackerz are a community and they share all of their info. There will be nothing that Cisco can do to stop them now. Cisco had an opportunity to learn, but now they will be left in the dark...
