Katrina's destruction attracts online fraudsters

As chaos and looting continue in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, online carpetbaggers and fraudsters are taking the opportunity to flood the Internet with fake charity Web sites and malicious code tied to the natural disaster.

The list of domain names using .com, .net and .org suffixes is long and a lot of imagination was used. Internet Storm Center (ISC) has collected a list after getting observations from their volunteers:
