althought might seem farfetched but, has anyone ever thought about losing a finger..when it comes to desperate robbers and all that would do anything for some cash like maybe a drug addict? A quick run to the ATM and just throw your finger away. Scary as it may seem there is such a case. Like the Mercedes security system that uses the owner's finger print to disable the system, there was a case that I read where the robbers DID cut off a finger so they could steal the car. That's another thing to worry about wouldn't it? There is a point to the bio information easily attained via your drink glasses at a pub etc. Having an extra validation would work but, where is the convinience in that? To get your money, you'd have to say, scan your retina...finger print...then enter your pin number...Maybe it's new that's why we see it as being troublesome. But I'm pretty sure there will be some of us, who will end up being really paranoid everytime we open the door, or pick up a glass, "Better rub that finger print off".
