There are so many problems with this article. First, if I have physical access to the environment in order to "seed" compromised USB's (or any other media for that matter) then the organization has other issues. If I have physical access to your system, it's as good as mine anyway, and I can specifically install malware at whim - why wait for some random fool to install it for me?

Second. A USB could be used to syphon data outsid eof the company??? No kidding...perhaps while your at it, you may also want to ban laptops, or at least stop people from taking them home. Why put a few GB of data on a USB when I can take home your entire intranet?
