E-voting worries focus on failures, not fraud

Major electronic voting machine problems occurred in at least six U.S. states during the country's midterm elections, underscoring that system failure, not fraud, is the biggest issue facing future races, voting-rights activists and technologists said this week.

Funny that. In Brazil they've just had two rounds of presidential elections using electronic voting without a single delay. The result was known shortly after the voting stations were closed. In a country with such a low literacy and high poverty rate this seams quite incredible.
