Security pros work to undo teacher's conviction

Researchers led by the head of a Florida anti-spyware firm aim to recreate what caused a Connecticut school's classroom computer to start displaying pornographic pop-ups in October 2004, an incident that recently led to four felony convictions for the substitute teacher involved.

I agree with you. Also, did the school have any kind of user agreement forms signed? The teacher who logged in for the substitute is partly to blame as well. What about IT support at the school? If they have an IT person employed at the school, how about negligence charges against him? Porn in a middle school is unacceptable, but so is a witch hunt. This teacher seems like she was denied her due process and the conviction should be overturned on that along with the forensic evidence.
