When Kevin Finisterre got his virtual guns handed to him in an online game of Halo 2 last Thursday, he called his opponents on their none-too-subtle hacks that skewed the game in their favor and turned the battle into a rout.

So this guys are stealing accounts, charging credit cards and stuff. They are either controlling the box or controlling ms networks. Or maybe neither! Maybe they are paying other people to complain and act like "someone stole their account" to make ms a bad name. Maybe Sony? Or maybe not! Maybe it was an inside man, maybe an ex-employe who got pissed off at this sick code, short deadlines and dumb managers and a#$%^es and one day just decided it's time for action, time for payback. He might have been working something on the Xbox or something on the authentication system. He might have had access to the source and been able to "bury" there a good backdoor. Or maybe it was a real blackhat that went all the way to achieve this for real (apparently low chance). So now ms have to be very very gentle with this cause of the stock holders! If it was an insider they're in deep trouble. How would they garante this won't happen again? Either way this guys play tough and believe they're untouchable. I want to see the end of the investigation, it'll be fun as hell.
