Task force aims to improve U.S. cybersecurity

A blue-ribbon panel of three dozen security experts hopes to craft a strategy to improve the United States' cybersecurity by the time the next president takes office, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and the task force's Congressional sponsors, announced on Tuesday.

Gimme a break. Does the American government actually need a bevy of experts to tell them how to secure their networks??? Methinks not. Cliches are just that for a reason; they are true. Follow best practices, crack down on your first line of defence ie: the sys admin, and security will fall into place naturally. It isn't rocket science folks.....
