A widespread distributed denial-of-service attack continued to inundate U.S. government and South Korean Web sites with network traffic on Wednesday, the fourth day of a quickly escalating attack whose targets suggest a connection to the tensions surrounding North Korea.

I do not know what everyone else's take on this is, however i think that it is ironic that the report comments on how amateur the attack was. But if the attack was amateur then how did it hit such high level targets that must surely mean that the people employed to keep these system safe are not doing there job. I do not normally comment on issues such as these however if a doctor did not save someone from a problem that was known and stopable that would be professional misconduct.
