The Council of Europe sees no problems, hears no problems, knows no problems.

It is a truly sad state the world is in now. Those who advocate the treaty will say that it is BECAUSE of HACKERS <a much abused term, both by the media and fellow technogeeks> that this treaty is necessary. When the truth is, no matter what laws are passed, or in the end enforced, will ever stop the truly malicious black hats that have a goal and the WILL to break these same laws.

These Proposed laws will only harm and intimidate those of us whom use our 'powers' for good. There is a good IRL phrase that sums this up...'locks are only going to keep honest people out.' The same goes for these laws.
