I fail to understand why this is considered the Largest Ever, or even in recent history. RedCode was a type of attack that infected at it's peak over 20,000 computers at once, and later versions attempted to ddos the whitehouse if i rember correctly. the only reason it didn't cripple the whitehouse site is it was cought ahead of time and they redirected the hard coded ip address from the whitehouse servers to null land. The only thing that makes this one diffrent is that they went after the 13 most important computers on the modern internet. If redcode, nimda, klez or any of the big name worm/viruses triggered based on a time like at 5:00pm every day, and it had between 10,000 to 20,000 useres infected it would be much larger 'flood'.
