He has some points but his statements are as widesweeping as the statements garnering the fallacy that OSS software is inherently secure. NO software is inherently secure. At least with OSS, I have the opportunity to fix the holes that I do find, not wait for some big redmond corporation to decide that the flaw is serious enough (aka more news coverage) and fix it.

Given Microsoft's track record, they have no precedence to be able to bark at us. Given the (in)secure nature of their programs, I didn't even know that they had a seperate security division. It doesn't seem to be very successful in any case.
