He's doing an excellent service to the Security community, dispite his not being able to touch a computer. I'm looking forward to more artlcles from him in the future, and people should pay heed to what he has to say.
One thing that many people overlook is the fact that incarcerated hackers can be a very grave threat to the security of everyone. Being incarcerated myself for my past deeds 30 years ago, the authorities tend to overlook one very serious problem. Jails contain many bad-ass people in them. Terrorists, drug dealers, and tons of other undesirables. When hackers are in there, you can bet there is a lot of information exchange taking place. Where terrorists, and other criminals can get direct access to a hackers knowledge.
I obviously don't know the answer to this problem, but I think that putting hackers in the same place where you don't want this kind of information flow, is kind of like shooting ones self in the foot. But it is food for thought...
