the most annoying aspect of this entire debacle has been

stomaching the clueless comments of the mainstream media.

papers here gave ink to people like carolyn meinel on this

subject, for chrissake. that's akin to asking the pope for his

expert opinion on the joys of anal intercourse and satanic

ritual, in my somewhat humble opinion.

the pundits and politicos not only lack the language to talk

competently about these attacks, but they don't even know

who to talk to when they occur. how embarrassing for them,

given how long computer crimes and computer criminals have

been a social phenomenon.

we're lucky to have poulsen around to inject some clue into

the debate, even if we don't always agree with his conclusions.
