what makes you think it won't be a great way to filter email, (i.e.,
READ) for just about anything? It's bad enough that employers would
stoop to any kind of perusing of email, but that doesn't mean you should
insist upon it becuase you can't figure out how to change your mail
client. Quite frankly, I find it really difficult to get all that excited about
self-limiting stupidity. What a smart corporation would do is fire the idiot
that was too stupid to notice the corporate welfare depeds upon not being
able to count on everyone excersising the judgement required to use
the software safely, espicially in this case where it doesn't seem to be
possible. Isn't choosing corporate policy regarding the types of software
the company will profit in using what they get paid to do? Isn't it rather
difficult to profit if employees wipe out their work on a regular basis and it
just gets written off to someone overseas that will never get caught or
if so, never reimbures the losses. Other employess get fired for
stupid decisions, why not IT personel, or is the "I" for idiot?
