I whole heartedly agree with Stauph! Now for the other individuals that feel Alan Cox is taking it too far... Maybe he is. However can you blame Alan? Let's think about it. Why should Alan have to worry about an American law that Americans passed? Did enough Americans stand up and let their voice be heard on this issue? (a rhetorical question)

My point is the "Act" was established due to *OUR* complacency on political issues as Americans. So before one considers it a "fragmenting" in the open source community understand what is happening in the American "Political" community and correlate how - *OUR* lack of envolvement - is affecting our trade. Do not gripe, do not bitch, and do not moan when it is, afterall *OUR* fault.

Not for anything more than it is, perhaps Alan is doing a very good thing; forcing American's to take back *OUR* government, it may be concluded, Alan is trying to "wake up" the Heart of the United States of America, its citizens. Great place to start, being the already out spoken OpenSource Community. Personally, I wouldn't mind holding the defibrillator.
