I would be very interested to know who will not be given access to the information which Mr. Cox is withholding. By addressing his views to the "US", whom is he refering to? I am a resident of Hawaii, which contrary to popular belief, is _not_ a part of the federalized "US" entity, thus is not subject to federal mandates i.e. DMCA. Should we, citizens of Hawaii have access to the vital information which Mr. Cox is withholding?
Does Mr. Cox feel that by imposing DMCA's will upon linux users and developers in the US, he is helping to overturn any and all legislation in favor of the DMCA? Does he not realize that he is in fact condoning and ligitimizing this obscene and criminally over-reaching example of government intrusion and intervention?
I am a very private person but I include my real e-mail address as well as my location in order to better argue this point and also to provide a contact point for replies. I would like a reply from Mr. Cox if possible. Thank you.
