DMCA is a crock. It's poorly thought out, and almost as poorly written. OK, one legal scholar doesn't think DMCA is quite as draconian as Alan Cox does. Isn't there an old legal dictum that the law says what the courts say it says? And after DOJ's kowtowing to Adobe in the Sklyarov case, who knows what the courts are going to say? It's Alan's butt that will be on the line. If he perceives himself to be threatened if he spills the details on the security problems, then he is threatened.
