Otto, about the linux-transmeta-linux-balmer thing:

Transmeta is going down the tubes.

and it's not like linux's success has any direct link with transmeta's success or failure.

Linus will continue to develop the kernel even after transmeta shuts down, so no worries. He'll have even MORE free time to crank out kernel upgrades!
